This Halloween, Merchant Square is gearing up to celebrate the most ghoulish time of the year with a range of thrilling activities to get into the eerie spirit. Our annual Halloween display will return, with over 350 pumpkins glistening under the the night-sky. The display will be fully live on the eve of Halloween, Tuesday 31st October, and promises to be an unforgettable sight to see this spooky season.
Are you ready to put your carving skills to the test? We have hundreds of pumpkins making their way to Merchant Square, ready to be carved by YOU the people! Enter into our pumpkin carving competition, which will be held over a number of days leading up to Halloween and hosted by our neighbourhood restaurant Lockhouse. We will have some excellent prizes available making this an unmissable moment.
That’s not all. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Nightmare Before Christmas, we will be screening a free outdoor cinema afternoon of the classic on Big Screen. Oh how we love Halloween at Merchant Square!
