Our annual Easter Egg hunt is back but you may notice something a bit different this year.
A mysterious giant egg has been discovered at Merchant Square, so the Dino Eggsplorers have been called in to investigate. With their suitcase of clues, the Dino Eggsplorers will guide children and families on an interactive roarsome adventure, following the footsteps of some of the greatest prehistoric beasts! Join Tina Rex and Terry Dactyl for a BIG egg, cluefinding mission with games and activities at each dinosaur themed stop. A real life dinosaur will also be on the loose!
The event will take place between 11am – 4pm, with various 25 minute tours running throughout the day. This is a free event however, you will need to reserve a space in advance to get involved in the fun.
SOLD OUT – Please note, all bookings for the Easter Egg Hunt have been filled!
COSMIC Easter Colouring in Competition
After you’ve finished your Easter egg hunt, head over to the Floating Pocket Park for some colouring in fun! No bookings are required and the activity is open for children of all ages. All finished pictures will be in with the chance of winning an Easter themed prize, and a free ticket to the COSMIC walk on Sunday 26th June 2022, for an adult and child. The COSMIC Walk is a fundraising event that involves supporters walking 5km from Paddington to Merchant Square, where there will be a tea party to enjoy!
A Message from COSMIC
By supporting COSMIC, you are helping critically ill children have the best chance at life. Every year, hundreds of babies and children arrive from across London and the Home Counties to be treated in the specialist intensive care units at St Mary’s and Queen Charlotte’s hospitals. They come to be treated for complex and acute life threatening conditions such as toxic shock, meningitis, pneumonia, or in the neonatal units for extreme prematurity (babies born before 28 weeks).
At COSMIC, our sole mission is to support the patients and their families, providing them with world-class care and services to give families hope and support and their children the best possible chance of survival. We do this in three main ways:
We ensure our dedicated team of nurses and doctors have the latest technology, state-of-the-art equipment, and up to date staff training, which is not covered by the NHS.
We help families through one of the most difficult times in their life -with one to one support, advice, counselling and provide a home from home experience in our practical accommodation for parents. Our Family Support Team also helps families cope with their child’s illness, the discharge process, access to social care and bereavement support.
We fund cutting-edge research, including studies on rare or poorly-understood conditions such as Kawazaki Disease and Meningococcal Disease.
