To welcome (or at least, to wishfully hope for) Spring, Heist Bank have just launched a new menu full of interesting, delicious dishes – a range of fresh but filling salads at lunchtime (for in or out), new all day dishes including Birchden Farm asparagus, feta, fregola & Sussex tomatoes, and Barnsley lamb chop, sea aster, feta & chilli croutons. The pizza is as good as always, with some new ingredients and toppings to reflect the season.
A few months ago, their Head Chef Alessandro travelled to his native Italy and brought back with him a mother yeast first started in 1920. The yeast is fed daily by our chefs, combined with good olive oil and stone ground flour, and baked in our woodfired oven to produce our crispy, light and complex pizza base.
