Summer Staycation – Paddleboard Yoga/Pilates
SUP Yoga is about taking a traditional yoga class onto the water where the paddleboard becomes your new floating yoga mat.
Specific SUP boards ill be used that will provide a comfortable and stable platform for you to e able to take your practice into a new and exciting direction.
Yoga on water will give you a whole new experience. By being exposed to the element and having to adjust to the movement of the board on water, you will maximise you core stability throughout the entire class.
Previous experience of SUP and Yoga are an advantage to help you get the most out of your SUP Yoga sessions, but even complete beginners of both can take part in this fantastic new form of Yoga.
SUP Yoga can be practiced wearing your usual Yoga clothing and if you are’t entirely comfortable on water you can wear buoyancy aids. We recommend you bring an extra change of clothes if you fall in and our estate bathrooms can be used as changing facilities.
The class is taken by an experienced SUP Yoga instructor from Active 360 and will be available to book on Tuesday 18th August and Tuesday 1st August between 6PM – 7PM.
