Visiting Merchant Square – January 2021

VISITING MERCHANT SQUARE
If you live, work or visit Merchant Square locally, we have some updates to the estate for January 2021 based on the latest government announcement (4th January 2021). Your safety is our number one priority and we’ve been working hard to make sure that Merchant Square is as safe as possible. Our new safety measures in place can be seen below and for any questions, please feel free to get in touch by email.
Social Distancing
We have placed signage and ground markings to help keep everyone a safe distance in seating areas or when walking around. Our Floating Pocket Park capacity has also been reduced to ensure that social distancing can be respected whilst enjoying the space. Our team in green will be happy to assist with any questions you may have on new safety measures and guidance.
Hygiene
We advise everyone to keep washing their hands or hand sanitise as per government guidance.
Our team continue to keep Merchant Square clean with extra attention to any surfaces such as handrails, bike racks and benches.
Getting here
We encourage travel to Merchant Square by foot or bike and have introduced new travel maps (see images below) to help you with your journey. There are three locations around Merchant Square with Santander bike hire and we have also added additional bike racks beside 5 Merchant Square at North Wharf Road.
Other bike racks can be seen located beside The Point on North Wharf Road, beside GoBoat and in front of 9 Harbet Road.
