As two friends that grew up together, both working in hospitality and managing different restaurants and food businesses – Rolling Dough decided to put their knowledge together and start a food business of their own. With a shared love of pizza they began hosting pizza parties for friends. Now, after hosting hundreds of events they have not only developed a great tasting pizza but can now provide this to the workers, residents and visitors of Merchant Square.
Inspired by the Neapolitan way, we make the dough using traditional methods and hand stretch it before dressing it with the finest Italian ingredients. Our scorching 500C wood fired oven will then cook the pizza to perfection in just 90 seconds! Our dough is the star of the show, we make it 3 days before each event and allow it to prove slowly at a controlled temperature. This not only gives it a great flavour but it also makes the dough full of air bubbles which puff and crisp in the oven, making the pizza light and easy to digest. It’s the combination of a great dough, harmonious toppings and a searing wood fire that makes our pizza truly irresistible!
