Discover London's only floating park - it's a little oasis of calm in this very busy part of London.

Just moments from Paddington station is The Floating Pocket Park. This is a lovely spot to relax with a sandwich or a coffee on a sunny day. You’ll find benches nestled amongst the greenery and in summer there are deckchairs and beanbags – perfect for lounging with a good book. You can also take advantage of the free wifi.
In the summer months, a canopy on the decked area provides some welcome shade. Look out for the free film screenings, music performances and exercise classes.
Designed by Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winner Tony Woods, the park is green in every sense of the word. The structure rests on a series of pontoons constructed from recycled materials – one of which is designed to attract ground-nesting birds. Look out for ducklings if you’re visiting in spring. The planting is nectar-rich and changes with the seasons encouraging bees and other pollinators.
The park is open year-round and can be hired for events.
