Spooky Movie Afternoon

Kick off the spooky season in style at Merchant Square presents an exciting outdoor cinema afternoon featuring the beloved classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas. Join us at 3pm on Wednesday 25th October for a frightfully delightful cinematic experience under the open sky and celebrate the 20th anniversary of Tim Burton’s iconic classic.

Families and fans of all ages are invited to embrace the spirit of Halloween by dressing up as their favourite characters from the movie, or in any Halloween themed attire. From Jack Skellington to Sally, Ursula to the Evil Queen, let your creativity run wild and immerse yourself in the spooky ambiance of the event.

Snuggle up in our blankets, sip on hot chocolate, enjoy some warming Mexican street food and sit back to enjoy the film under the open sky. Don’t miss out on the chance to revel in the enchantment of the timeless classic while celebrating the wonder of Halloween. See you at 3pm – Don’t Be Scared!

• First Come, First Served: Seating at the outdoor cinema is available on a first come, first served basis. While we have a generous number of deckchairs, availability cannot be guaranteed for everyone. If all deckchairs are taken, you are welcome to bring your own picnic blankets and relax on the lawns in front of the screen.
