The lion dance is one of the most important traditions at Chinese New Year. It is performed to bring good luck and drive away evil spirits for the upcoming year.
On Friday 20th February, between 12:30 – 2.30, celebrate Chinese New Year with a traditional lion dance at Merchant Square. Get ready for our skilled lion dancers, musical performers and colourful characters to take you on a journey of discovery around the estate.
