Traditional Lion Dance for Chinese New Year
The lion dance is one of the most important traditions at Chinese New Year. It is performed to bring good luck and drive away evil spirits for the upcoming year.
On Wednesday 29th January, between 12:30 – 13:00, celebrate Chinese New Year with a traditional lion dance at Merchant Square. Get ready for our skilled lion dancers wave through the square.
