Year of the Snake
The Chinese New Year marks the first day in the lunar calendar, it is a time for new beginnings and fresh starts for everyone. This upcoming year will be the Year of the Snake, representing wisdom, knowledge, intelligence, intuition, and creativity.
To celebrate the occasion, our Floating Pocket Park will be adorned with beautiful Chinese lanterns, creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere. The lantern display will be available to enjoy from 29th January to 12th February 2025.
As part of the celebrations, we’ll be offering free wishing tags throughout the event. These can be collected from the reception desk at 5 Merchant Square—simply use the revolving doors opposite the cinema screen.
We invite everyone to write down their hopes and dreams for the coming year and add them to our New Year Wishing Wall at the Floating Pocket Park. Let’s come together to share positivity, embrace new beginnings, and celebrate the rich traditions of the Lunar New Year.
